BE - Data Engineer BI

Who are we? 

Collaboration Betters The World (CBTW), is a company providing tech et business solutions to its clients, through the expertise of its 9 service lines. 

As an Account Manager, you will join our corporate functions, where are accompanying our consultants during their whole journey. We are the Human Resources, Account Management, Accountability, Legal, Support, Finance, Marketing and Communication departments. 

What is your role?

You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact.

For the internal impact, based on your skills and availability, you will join our internal Data community at CBTW to share knowledge and best practices.

For the client impact, tasks may vary depending on the project, but you will mainly:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Viya
• Work on data preparation, transformation, and integration to ensure high data quality and consistency
• Develop and optimize SAS programs and queries for performance and scalability
• Contribute to the migration or implementation of SAS Viya platforms
• Design and maintain data models and reporting layers for BI use cases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within SAS environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and improve system performance
• Stay up to date with SAS ecosystem evolutions and BI best practices

What is your profile?

As a Positive Thinker, you have:

• A degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in BI/Data Engineering or a similar role
• Strong experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
• Experience or strong interest in SAS Viya platform (migration or implementation is a plus)
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience in data analysis and reporting within a BI context
• Programming mindset; knowledge of Python or other languages is a plus
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English
