What is your role? 

• Installation, configuration, monitoring and incident/problem resolution of Network.
• switching equipment and routing equipment.
• Monitoring and incident/problem resolution of security equipment.
• Installation, configuration of part of the security equipment.
• Patch/upgrade systems to maintain the required security and support levels.
• Monitor performance and capacity of the infrastructure.
• Works closely with users to understand needs, define and solve incidents/problems.
• Instructs users in order to avoid recurring incidents/problems.
• Maintains a current knowledge of changes in the data communications field.

What is your profile ?

• 5 to 8 years of proven experience in a role combining network engineering and cybersecurity.

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and communication systems.

• Experience with fiber optics and network peripherals.

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • VLAN configuration and management

  • Routing protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

  • Cisco IOS (ACI is considered an asset)

  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices

  • Familiarity with syslogs and monitoring tools

• Languages: Fluent French is mandatory; a solid level of technical English is required.

Other Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Good organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
